Self determined composer Hugh Flynn classifies his music as World Orchestral to disassociate his form of orchestral music from the exclusive classical music pigeon hole that is the domain of the cliquey/elitist finger up bottom European middle classes. |

Flynn is targeting an audience that does not label or stereotype music. If your enjoyment of music includes 19th century orchestral music, 1970s electronic music, folk influenced 70s rock music, Irish music, eastern music, world rhythms then you may be a target listener. This site is not for those who follow trends or fashions, or those who link their musical culture to whims from bullshitting contemporary trend setters. |
Flynn's compositional journey began in 1978. The twenty two years to the completion of the Wexford symphony were spent forming his unique music. Hope you find the site entertaining. There are four thirty second intro downloads of the Wexford Symphony movements in MP3 format, plus twenty downloads of complete earlier works. Some pieces are over twelve minutes long!. |
